The Northern Arizona Chapter of the Society of American Foresters serves professionals, students, and land managers across a region known for its vast ponderosa pine forests, rugged canyonlands, and high desert plateaus.
Our chapter provides a forum for sharing knowledge, advancing science-based forest management, and fostering collaboration among forestry practitioners, researchers, and community partners. Through meetings, field tours, and outreach, we support the stewardship of Northern Arizona’s diverse forest ecosystems, balancing the needs of local communities with broader goals of ecological restoration, wildfire resilience, and sustainable resource use.
